Discover Quito - Pre-Med Programs

Our Pre-Med programs in Quito are ideal for individuals looking to add an international medical component to their resume, in an effort to gain acceptance into a graduate program, or further enhance their medical training & exposure. Our Pre-Med programs in Quito offer experiences in a wide variety of medical arenas. 

Following are examples of opportunities available;

Previous participants have been placed at a small hospital located on the coast of Ecuador in Santa Elena Province, about 10 hours away from Quito by bus.  

The hospital has various medical departments, including internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics, dentistry, familiar medicine, operating room.  Obstetrics and Pediatrics are the busiest areas. The staff at the hospital is quite open and very helpful, therefore your exposure will be well rounded.  The small town where the hospital is located is very safe and was built on the beach.  It has various internet cafés, so communication is not a problem.
