Internships are in all fields and are determined by you. As IIVN’s largest program, many interns have been placed in all imaginable fields. Some of our recent interns have been placed in the fields of education, business, theatre and events management.

MBA: Hedge Funds, Wealth Management, Venture Capital, Mergers and Acquisitions, Marketing, and PR.

PoliSci: This program will give you the opportunity to learn about British politics both by working in the sector as well as meeting with people working in the world that revolves around Westminster.

Medical: We are also very fortunate to be able to offer great internships in a famous London hospital in most aspects of medicine.

Important Information

A work permit is highly recommended for interning in London. These are easily attainable through the BUNAC program for those of you who are currently students or have graduated within six months prior to your internship. Contact them by calling 1-800-GoBunac or visit them online at www.bunac.org.

London is not very large so it is easy to get around both day and night. In fact you will be surprised at how often you can walk to events and other special gatherings. If the walk is too far, just hop on a double-decker bus or get on the ”tube” — both systems operate well and often. Since the country itself is relatively small, you might want to take advantage of weekends to enjoy and explore the Brit-Rail system.

Like most large cities, London can be very pricey; it is suggested that you plan on spending about $300 a week to live. That amount would include transportation and food cooked in your flat, but not many evenings spent at clubs.

You have many choices for housing. If you are eligible for a BUNAC work permit, you can use the facilities of BUNAC and the housing bulletin board. Interns most often find housing options convenient and available.

Placements are available Year-Round!
