Int’l Internship & Volunteer Network

"Discover Infinite Possibilities"

"Discover Chile"

Santiago is a metropolitan area of about five million people, located in Chile’s rich central valley—equidistant from beautiful Pacific (cold-water!) beaches and the best skiing in South America. The city is home to various industries, such as mining, forestry, telecommunications, transportation and food processing. It also serves as Chile’s center of banking, trade, commerce and government.

After twelve straight years of growth, Chile recently achieved associate membership in Mercosur; the country has also signed a commercial treaty with the European Union. It is beautiful, friendly city full of cultural opportunities which enthusiastically welcomes it’s visitors. Chileans take pride in their local success as the ”Latin American country that could.”
