Discover Australia – Premier Programs

Australia is the sixth largest country in the world. It's about the same size as the 48 mainland states of the USA and 50% larger than Europe, but has the lowest population density in the world - only two people per square kilometer. Australia boasts over 10,000 beaches - more than any other nation!

Australia proudly exhibits a friendly and relaxed environment. With a country that is clean, full of resources, vast landscape and beautiful climate, Australia attracts visitors from all over the world. The Australian population is well educated and multicultural. It has a single language (with little variation of accents across the country) and the population enjoys a comfortable standard of living.

Accommodations, Meals & Transportation

Accommodations:  Arranging accommodation in a foreign country can be daunting; IIVN and our receiving organization in Australia want you to enjoy your stay and are happy to provide you with resources and recommendations for options that are affordable, safe, and in an area convenient to your placement location.  It is ultimately the participant’s responsibility to secure and confirm their housing arrangements prior to departing for their program.

Below are housing options coordinated by our receiving organization. Although housing is not included in the program fee, it is offered through the receiving organization at a special rate as noted below.  Should you prefer to secure housing on your own, it would be our pleasure to provide you with a variety of information to research additional options.

A one-time placement fee of $225 AUD must be paid to the receiving organization prior to confirming housing.  Housing rates are quoted in Australian Dollars, are per week, and must be paid prior to the program start date.

Home stay:  We recommend home stay as a great personal introduction and welcome to the daily life in Australia. Living with an Australian family will give you a unique insight into the culture and values of our country and assist in preparing you for the business environment.
