Africa is the 2nd largest continent in the world and includes 53 individual countries. It is home to The Nile River, the longest in the world, and the world’s largest desert, the Sahara. The continent's highest point is Mt. Kilimanjaro, in Tanzania, while the lowest point is Lac' Assal in the small country of Djibouti.
